How to Add the Robinhood Chain to MetaMask
Add the Robinhood Chain to MetaMask in under a minute — the exact network details, chain ID 4663, and what to do when the automatic prompt never appears.
The easy way
Usually you do not need to type anything. Connect your wallet to a dApp on the chain — Mintera included — and it asks MetaMask to add the network for you. Approve the prompt and you are done.
Several wallets now ship with the Robinhood Chain built in, so check your network list before doing anything manual.
The network details
| Network name | Robinhood Chain |
| Chain ID | 4663 |
| Currency symbol | ETH |
| RPC URL | https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com |
| Explorer | https://robinhoodchain.blockscout.com |
Worth knowing because it makes the number stick: 4663 spells HOOD on a phone keypad.
When the prompt does not appear
- The wallet is locked. A locked extension does not announce itself to the page, so the site cannot ask it anything. Unlock, then reload.
- Several wallets are installed. One can claim the connection slot. Pick yours explicitly from the site's wallet list, or disable the others temporarily.
On mobile there are no extensions — use WalletConnect, or open the site inside your wallet's own browser, which is the more reliable of the two.
Next
Adding the network does not give you ETH on it. See how to bridge ETH, then connect to Mintera.
