How to Bridge ETH to the Robinhood Chain

The Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum Layer 2. It uses ETH for gas rather than a separate token — but the ETH in your wallet on Ethereum mainnet is a different balance from the ETH on the Robinhood Chain. Bridging moves value between them.

Until you do it, every transaction fails for insufficient funds, however much ETH your wallet shows on other networks. This trips up almost everyone once.

The chain is built on the Arbitrum stack, so the canonical route is the official bridge that Robinhood's own documentation names. Use that one.

1. Connect your wallet with Ethereum mainnet selected.
2. Hold the amount you want to bridge plus Ethereum gas for the deposit transaction itself.
3. Enter the amount and confirm.
4. Wait — canonical deposits typically arrive in around ten minutes.

Only use a bridge named in official documentation. Fake bridge sites are the most common way people lose funds on a new chain, and they rank well precisely because the chain is new and the real pages are thin. Type the URL rather than following a link from a chat message.

Start small. Roughly 0.03 to 0.08 ETH covers a great deal of gas and leaves room to actually buy something, without committing much on a first attempt.

Gas here is cheap and stable, so a small bridge goes a long way. Bridge more once the round trip has worked once.

Withdrawals through the canonical bridge follow the standard optimistic-rollup challenge period, so they are not instant. That is the security model doing its job, not a delay someone added.

If you need to exit faster, third-party routes such as Across, Relay and LiFi offer quicker withdrawals for a fee — they front you the funds on the other side, so you are paying for time.
