Your First Week on the Robinhood Chain: A Practical Checklist

Any EVM wallet works. Several now include the Robinhood Chain by default; if yours does not, adding it takes a minute — or just connect to a dApp and approve the prompt.

Write your recovery phrase down on paper. Not a screenshot, not a password manager note, not a message to yourself. This is the one step with no undo.

Bridge ETH through the canonical route. Start with 0.03 to 0.08 ETH — enough to do everything, small enough that a mistake is a lesson rather than a loss.

Deposits typically arrive in around ten minutes. Do not resend if it has not landed in two.

Before doing anything that matters, do something small that does not. Buy a low-value NFT, or send yourself a token. The goal is to see the whole flow — approve, confirm, appear on the explorer — while nothing is at stake.

Then find it on the explorer. Being able to read your own transactions is what makes everything afterwards less nerve-wracking.

Browse the marketplace and the activity feed to see what is actually trading rather than what is being promoted. Look at upcoming mints if minting interests you.

Before buying anything meaningful, read how to verify a collection. It is five minutes that will save you more than once.

• Using a bridge you found through a search or a link. Fake bridges are the most expensive mistake on any new chain. Only use routes named in official documentation.
• Taking a contract address from a chat message. Lookalike addresses are standard practice for scammers. Always get it from the project's own site.
• Sharing a recovery phrase. No support agent, admin or team member will ever need it. Anyone asking is stealing from you.
• Buying on urgency. Every artificial deadline is designed to stop you doing the checks above. Nothing genuinely good expires in ten minutes.
